Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, siswa kelas 5 SD/MI akan diperkenalkan tentang dates and months also using word "when" dalam materi berjudul I Like Playing "Balap Karung".
Adapun tujuan pembelajaran yang harus dicapai siswa adalah sebagai berikut:
- Students are able to mention dates and months.
- Students are able to respond to questions using the question word "when".
- Students are able to make sentences about dates and months.
Dalam buku, siswa pun diarahkan untuk mengenal bagian Language Focus, yaitu:
- What month is this? it's October
- January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc
